I can finally take a minute to reflect. We are truly fortunate to be able to witness this moment in history.
But tonight is just the beginning. Our work is not done, but it has just begun. This is just the start of a long journey to deliver on our collective hopes, dreams, and visions for this country.
Tonight, and tomorrow, and on January 20th we will celebrate. It is time to harness this spirit, roll up our sleeves, and get to work.
But for now, we have reaffirmed that hope conquers fear and doubt. And that IS what our country is all about.
