A Matter of Character

IF character is an issue in the upcoming presidential election, people need to look no further than this:

"Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because her father is Janet Reno."

Sen. John McCain, speaking to a Republican dinner, June 1998.

OR THIS

"Let me be as clear as possible, I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin's performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president. How a family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn't be the topic of our politics, and I hope that anybody who is supporting me understands that's off-limits."

Sen. Barack Obama, speaking to the media, September 2008.

As Barack said in his speech Thursday... Enough. As Barack demonstrated Monday, actions speak louder than words.

I definitely, definitely agree!

The chosen one has spoken!!! LOL! Hey, do you ever watch The Daily Show? I just love how they are portraying Barrack as the Messaiah...I do like him, but he's just a human being like all of us. He'll make mistakes if he hasn't already.

Sorry, I'm still skeptical of him but he's better than all those other Ass-Hats, or Ass-Clowns...whatever you want to call 'em!

I'm not so sure family should be off limits. If Reps are elected, will this poor 17 year old girl become a role model?
I'm not saying it's ok to be vicious like McCain was, but it should be ok to ask questions.

Amen.

P.S. I do believe that's my shortest answer, ever. Not counting the P.S.

True, so true.

Thankfully for Governor Palin the media was preoccupied with Gustavo to bother with the Governor and her knocked up teenage daughter.

All I'm gonna say is this: it's real cold in Alaska. . .

I want another choice. I am not a McCain fan, but I don't like some of Obama's ideas either. He's the better option overall, but something makes me not feel great about him. Maybe it's the welfare "reform". Idk.

Darling Bob,

I agree with what you say here but please remember, this election is not about the past.

It is about the future.
