Two months ago today
they dropped off the fence
Nobody knew exactly why
there was great suspense
It hasn't been touched since
and sits there solitary
No movement or no purpose
The fence is now sedentary
It's stacked very neatly
and secured in its place
It isn't a big area
not taking up much space
It may be a piece of art
without a plaque or sign
This temporary fencing
looks quite divine
I hope it stays forever
outside my office window
If someone takes it away
I will feel very low
So mark this special moment
all you ladies and gents
A two month celebration
My Ode to the Fence

Welcome back, Bob!
Thanks Jennifer... I'm still trying to get through all my blog reading. I look forward to getting to the "W's".
No fence ever received a better Ode.
Megan... especially a fence not actually fencing in anything.
Something's going to happen with that beauty come spring time. Just wait and see. Mark my word.
Oh, and by the way, HAPPY HOLIDAYS Mr. Grouchy!!!
Blottie XO
Golly! I want one just like it. You listening Santa?
This is hilarious!
Okay, you've got me hooked. Now I NEED to know what happens with that damn fence!!!
Ode to the fence was so heartfelt, it brought a tiny glimmering tear to my eye...
I'm thinking up "ode to my Panera sandwich". chicken salad. it rawwwks my socks.
I'm hungry, having worked 11 hours today, and brought home lotsa bacon. Yay.
I think they are fencing something OUT, not in. Maybe it's a meter of some sort, and they are trying to keep hoodlums from messing with it.
I love you Bob. You know why? Because you brought Karen into my life.
Okay, I also love you because you're you. God, you're so needy.
;) XO Blottie
