Thanks to all who have left many nice, comforting, and supportive words on my previous post. At some point I'll be able to respond to each of you individually. Please know that your comments mean a great deal. They are the first thing I read in the morning, and the last that I check before going to bed.
I know that all of you have your own life struggles which are much more important than mine. In the grand scheme of things, my troubles pale in significance. They began many years ago, and they will cast their shadow for years to come. I can only hope that the sun will rise high in the noon time sky and shorten the shadows for a brief moment.

Rock on, Bobness. Your struggles are just as important as anyone else's.
'No man is an island...'
Very true, Megan, I was just going to say that. I'm not trying to be the devil's advocate sadsack, but truly, do not minimize what makes you despondent. If you are having self destructive thoughts, then maybe you need extra help coping just now. That's not to be minimized or invalidated, not even by you. Own it, recognize it, and accept help for it.
I'm glad you were at least helped for a short while. That's what it's all about. You are among friends, remember that.
Oh crap, I was going to write something that I thought was funny, but when I typed it, I realized that it appeared cold and heartless, so I deleted it. Try to listent to some music by The Cure. Their music always makes me want to move. Try it and see if it helps!
I lfet this at the Onion but I don't know if you saw it. I keep this with me at home and at work for those moments it's needed.
“Fear not the stormy tempest that is at this moment sweeping through your life. A blessing is in the storm, and there will be the rich fruitage in the “afterward.” - Henry Ward Beecher
HUGS!
Hi Bob. Wait, the Cure is what I listen to when I'm feeling bad and want to feel worse, Cece, what are you thinkin'? Or maybe that's just because I'm weird...
And Bob, c'mon--What Megan and Karen said. Why is our crappy crap somehow crappier than your crap? If there's crap, there's crap.
Except that they said it so much more comfortingly. But again, what they said.
xoxo
SO I came back and I noticed.....you have 23 followers and I have 7.
DANG!
Everybody's struggles are struggles to them.
Bob...I am jumping on the bandwagon with everyone else...struggles (aka CRAP) are struggles. We all have them. Mine are not more important than yours...their just different than yours. We are still here, not leaving...
Sending good Vibes your way, Gig
LOL, I like how Leah said it. She's so right.
I think Megan summed it up best Bob. We are here for you and want to help out anyway we can. I have definitely felt the way you do and one day I decided I needed help. Therapy and a little medication sure did make me feel a lot better but I still have my days when I am blue. No one knows exactly how you feel or what you are going through except you but I hope some of these comments from all of your blogging buddies give you comfort.
I'm late again, but I just wanted to echo what everyone else is saying. There is no hierarchy of struggle here. Your struggles are important and certainly have a huge effect on your ability to enjoy life. What's more important on a personal level than that? (Though this observation doesn't seem like a particularly good way to lift your spirits).
I suggest listening to something with a lot of loud guitars as a temporary cheering measure. At least that's what I do ...
So does the crap still stink, or is it starting to smell like Suzanne's roses. Let me tell you everything around here stinks. The weather, my family has the flu, and tomorrow is only Wednesday. Keep your nose plugged with the clothes pin and hopefully you won't have crap problems before too long.
I think Megan summed it up best.
I think Karen summed it up best.
I think Cece summed it up best (but the Cure? She craze bitch!!!).
I think QG summed it up best.
I think Leah summed it up best.
I think Gig summed it up best.
I think Mr. Shife summed it up best.
I think Jennifer summed it up best.
So why the hell am I here?!!! Because I am the voice of reason. Oh, sorry, wrong blog. Oh right, because I have left over meat loaf and garlic mashed potatoes. Here sweetie, you should eat something...you're looking a little thin. Yes, I know you're laughing. GOOD!!! Now go out and rent a funny movie, or a slew of America's Funniest Home Videos and laugh yourself back to something half way decent. No, I'm not kidding. You know why? Because laughter produces endorphines and endorphines are our very special friends!
And about your struggles being less than ours. Knock it off. Every struggle is equally deserving of recognition. Welcome to the club. That'll be $25,000 sir with a $2,000 monthly maintenance fee. Oh, food and drinks are extra, but if you go to the Wild Onion you can get that stuff free!
I love you baby. We all do, so just remember you have a wonderful support system and I can't imagine any of us leaving any time soon. Perhaps that's the problem. Just Bob needs some rest! (Puts mac & cheese in the oven for when Bob wakes up.)
XO ;)

....hey Bob!....
Bob, be gentle with yourself. We are often our own worst enemies. I found this quote and thought about you:
"Whenever someone sorrows, I do not say, 'forget it,' or 'it will pass,' or 'it could be worse' -- all of which deny the integrity of the painful experience. But I say, to the contrary: It is worse than you may allow yourself to think. Delve into the depth. Stay with the feeling. Think of it as a precious source of knowledge and guidance. Then and only then will you be ready to face it and be transformed in the process."
- Peter Koestenbaum
Take care,
XOXOXOXO
Bob,
Do we have amazing friends, or what? I want to hug RC to death and kick Kylie's arrogant little ass (assuming she has a little ass). Have we seen pictures of her ass???!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh, life is good.
Love you baby and hope you're feeling a bit better today. I made chile and cream of broccoli/cauliflower soup and thought of you while crying through all the onions. The chile called for 1 (whimps!), so I chopped 5, and the soup called for 1, so I chopped 4. Yes, it's true, I'm an onion/garlic person.
Happy almost Friday. Love you. XO
Baby, my picture came up as a red x. That can't be good. I'm prettier than that!!!
Yes, I saw it...
Hi Bob!
slides in to wave at bob
Hi Bob!
Hey doll!
Hey Bob,
I'm just here to check on you. I hope you are getting a handle on the darkness. Come on climb out of the pit. We are all standing here at the surface throwing you ropes, but you aren't grabbing on. So take hold of the rope and climb, my dear man.
